| 2011 - 2012 TOWNSHIP BUDGET |
In the past I have felt if was unfair to present the Township Budget to the residents the same night it was voted on by the Township Board. This year will be different. The 2011-2012 Township budget will be presented to the Board and to the public at the February 8th Board meeting. Copies of the Budget will be available to the residents at Township Offices the following day. The Town Hall meeting scheduled for Tuesday February 15th will give residents a chance to ask questions about the new budget. At the Board meetings on February 22nd and March 8th any additional questions from residents and Board members can be answered. Final approval of next year's budget will be at the March 22nd, 2011 meeting. In this way there is a longer period of time for questions to be asked and answered.
